HubSpot alternatives in 2027: 7 CRMs for small sales teams

HubSpot alternatives and competitors for small sales teams, compared on price per seat, what each CRM includes, and who it fits. Prices checked November 1, 2026.

Short answer: the best HubSpot alternatives for a small sales team are Pipedrive for a simple pipeline, Close for calling and email, Attio for a flexible modern CRM, Zoho CRM and Freshsales for low per-seat prices, and Rodok for a CRM with signals and sequences. Pick by what you use HubSpot for.

This article is about replacing HubSpot's sales CRM. If you use HubSpot mainly for marketing automation, landing pages or support tickets, most of the tools below are not substitutes for those parts.

Why small teams look for alternatives to HubSpot

HubSpot describes itself as a customer platform that combines marketing, sales, service and content software, with a free CRM at the center (hubspot.com). For a company that uses several of those hubs, that is the point. For a team of three reps who need to track deals, the pattern we hear is usually one of these:

  1. The price steps up fast. On HubSpot's Sales Hub pricing page, Free covers up to 2 users, Starter starts from $7 per seat a month (the page notes the discount is for new customers), Professional is $90 per seat and Enterprise is $150 per seat. Professional and Enterprise also carry a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500 and $3,500. Checked on November 1, 2026.
  2. Credits for the AI features. HubSpot Credits are priced at $0.010 each, reset monthly and do not roll over, per the same page. Starter includes 500 a month, Professional 3,000 and Enterprise 5,000.
  3. More platform than the job needs. If the work is "track deals, log email, remind me to follow up", a platform with a dozen hubs is a lot of surface area to configure and pay for.

HubSpot's own pages show several different price points depending on which bundle you look at, so check the page for the plan you would buy.

HubSpot competitors: what to compare

Most lists of HubSpot competitors put very different products side by side. Compare on four things.

  • The pipeline itself. Stages, deal fields, forecasts. Almost every CRM does this; the difference is how much setup it takes.
  • Email and calendar. Does it sync Gmail or Outlook and show mail on the record?
  • Outreach. Sequences, calling, templates. Some CRMs include them, some expect a separate tool.
  • Reasons to reach out. Most CRMs record what happened. A few also tell you who to contact next.

Pipedrive's pricing page blocked our automated fetch, so its figures come from the listing of that page in search results. Confirm them on their site before you budget.

Pipedrive

Pipedrive is the usual first choice for teams that find HubSpot heavy. It has four plans, Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate, at $14, $39, $59 and $79 per seat a month billed annually, according to its pricing page. Add-ons such as LeadBooster, Campaigns and Web Visitors are priced separately on the lower plans, and there is a 14-day free trial.

Best for: teams that want a visual pipeline running in an afternoon. Watch out for: email automation starts on Growth, and add-ons can raise the bill.

Close

Close is built for teams that spend the day on calls and email. Its pricing page lists Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale, with built-in calling, SMS and email from Essentials and workflows and a power dialer on Growth. Calling is usage-based, with most outbound calls about $0.02 a minute. A 14-day trial needs no card. The page shows two prices per plan without labeling which is monthly, so the ranges above are the two figures shown.

Best for: inside-sales teams. Watch out for: if your reps work mostly through LinkedIn and email, the calling tools are less of a draw.

Attio

Attio is a newer CRM with a flexible data model: you define your own objects and views. The free plan covers up to 3 seats; Plus is $44 a month per seat ($35 billed annually) and Pro is $99 ($79 billed annually), which adds sequences and call intelligence (pricing).

Best for: teams that want to shape the CRM around how they sell. Watch out for: flexibility means someone designs the setup.

Zoho CRM

Zoho's CRM page lists a free plan for up to 3 users and an AI assistant called Zia, workflows, cadences, forecasting and integrations with 1,000+ applications. The paid per-user prices weren't shown on the pages we fetched, so check their site.

Best for: teams that want many modules at a low price. Watch out for: the breadth takes time to learn, and the plan prices weren't visible on the page we fetched.

Freshsales

Freshsales (from Freshworks) lists Growth at $9, Pro at $39 and Enterprise at $59 per user a month billed annually. Sales sequences start on Pro, and there is a 21-day trial (pricing).

Best for: small teams who want a cheap start. Watch out for: the cheapest plan has basic workflows only.

Rodok

Rodok is a CRM with signals added. The Starter plan is the CRM: companies, people, deals, tasks, notes and files, with Gmail and Outlook on every record, calendar sync, booking links, reports and forecasting, and team chat on records. The Pro plan adds the parts HubSpot would sell separately or not at all: trackers that find LinkedIn posts and job changes matching a sentence you write, a lead database that finds people by title, seniority, company size and industry (and usually returns a work email), and sequences that send email from your own Gmail or Outlook with LinkedIn steps as tasks for the rep. Replies are sorted by AI into a replies inbox.

Best for: small B2B sales teams that want the CRM and the "who should I contact this week" part in one place. Watch out for: Rodok is not a marketing automation suite or a service desk. If you rely on HubSpot for forms, newsletters, landing pages or support tickets, keep those in a separate tool.

How to choose the right HubSpot alternative

1. List what you use

Open HubSpot and note which features your team touched last month. Most small teams use contacts, deals, email logging, tasks and a report or two. If that is you, anything on the list above works, and price and setup time decide it.

2. Decide where outreach happens

If reps send sequences, check whether the CRM includes them (Freshsales Pro, Attio Pro, Rodok Pro) or whether you will pay for a separate sender. For help picking one, see our guide to best cold email software and sales sequences.

3. Price your whole team, not one seat

Count every seat for a year, plus onboarding fees, add-ons and credits. HubSpot's one-time onboarding fee on Professional and Enterprise is a cost many comparison pages leave out.

4. Check the move

Export your contacts, companies and deals from HubSpot as CSV files. Most CRMs import them. Try an import with 50 real records on a free trial before you commit, and see that deal stages and owners come across.
