Short answer: the best Pipedrive alternatives are HubSpot for a free CRM with room to grow, Close for calling and email, Attio for a flexible data model, Zoho CRM and Freshsales for lower prices, and Rodok for a CRM that also finds who to contact. Pick by what Pipedrive is missing for your team.
Why teams look for a Pipedrive alternative
Pipedrive is popular because the pipeline is easy: drag a deal across stages and move on. If that is all you need, it does the job well. People start looking at Pipedrive competitors when one of these happens.
- Add-ons stack up. Pipedrive's plans are Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate. Per its pricing page, they cost $14, $39, $59 and $79 per seat a month billed annually, and LeadBooster, Projects and Smart Docs are included on Premium and Ultimate but cost extra below. Campaigns and Web Visitors are paid add-ons on every plan. Pipedrive's page blocked our automated fetch, so these figures come from the listing of that page in search results. Confirm them before you budget.
- No free plan. Pipedrive offers a 14-day free trial rather than a free tier, so a team of two that wants to run lean cannot stay free.
- Finding new leads is a separate job. Pipedrive tracks the people you already know. Getting new names in front of the team means an add-on or another tool.
What to compare
- Pipeline depth. Custom stages, deal fields, multiple pipelines.
- Built-in outreach. Email sequences, calling, templates. Some CRMs include them, some expect an outside tool.
- Lead sources. Does it help you find people, or only store them?
- Total price. Seats plus add-ons plus credits, for the whole team.

HubSpot
HubSpot's free CRM supports up to two users and 1,000 contacts and does not expire (hubspot.com). On the Sales Hub page, Starter is from $7 per seat a month, Professional is $90 and Enterprise is $150, with one-time onboarding fees of $1,500 and $3,500 on the top two. HubSpot Credits for AI features are $0.010 each and reset monthly.
Best for: teams that want a free start and a path to marketing tools. Watch out for: the price jump to Professional. More in HubSpot alternatives.
Close
Close is built for teams that spend the day on calls and email. Its pricing page lists Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale with calling, SMS and email from Essentials, and workflows and a power dialer from Growth. Calls are billed by usage, about $0.02 a minute for most outbound calls. The page shows two prices per plan without labeling which is monthly. The trial is 14 days, no card needed.
Best for: inside-sales teams. Watch out for: calling costs sit on top of the plan.
Attio
Attio lets you define your own objects and views. The free plan includes up to 3 seats and 50,000 records. Plus is $44 per seat a month ($35 billed annually); Pro is $99 ($79 billed annually) and adds sequences, call intelligence and advanced reporting (pricing).
Best for: teams that want to shape the CRM around their process. Watch out for: someone has to design the setup.
Zoho CRM
Zoho's CRM page describes a free plan for up to 3 users, an AI assistant called Zia, workflows, cadences, forecasting and 1,000+ integrations. The paid per-user prices were not visible on the pages we fetched, so check their site.
Best for: cost-conscious teams that want breadth. Watch out for: more modules mean more to learn.
Freshsales
Freshsales lists Growth at $9, Pro at $39 and Enterprise at $59 per user a month billed annually, with a 21-day trial. Contact scoring and sales sequences start on Pro (pricing).
Best for: small teams that want email and phone built in. Watch out for: the cheapest plan has basic workflows.
Rodok
Rodok Starter is a CRM in the same spirit as Pipedrive: companies, people, deals, tasks, notes and files, Gmail and Outlook on every record, calendar sync and booking links, reports and forecasting. The difference is Pro, which adds the part Pipedrive treats as an add-on or leaves to other tools. You describe a signal in a sentence, such as "new heads of sales at software companies in Australia", and trackers find the matching LinkedIn posts and job changes on a schedule, marked hot or warm. A lead database finds people by title, seniority, company size and industry and usually returns a work email. Sequences send email from your own Gmail or Outlook, with LinkedIn steps as tasks for the rep, and replies are sorted by AI.
Best for: small B2B teams who want one tool for finding people, contacting them and tracking the deal. Watch out for: Rodok is not a marketing automation suite, a service desk or a project tool, so keep those elsewhere.
How to switch from Pipedrive
1. Export your data
Pipedrive lets you export people, organizations and deals as spreadsheets. Check that deal owners and stage names are in the file.
2. Rebuild only the stages you use
Copy your pipeline stages, and drop stages that are always empty. A short pipeline is easier to forecast. For stage basics, see sales pipeline.
3. Move outreach separately
If you ran email campaigns through Pipedrive add-ons, decide where they go. Our guides to best cold email software and sales sequences cover the options.
4. Import 50 deals first
Do a trial import with a small batch, check amounts, dates and owners, then run the rest.
