RocketReach alternatives in 2027: 6 contact finders compared

RocketReach alternatives compared on credits, what each finds (email, phone, signals) and price. Includes Apollo, Lusha, Hunter, Seamless.AI and ZoomInfo.

Short answer: the best RocketReach alternatives are Apollo for contact data plus sequences, Lusha for fast email and phone lookups, Hunter for email finding and verification, Seamless.AI for real-time search, ZoomInfo for enterprise coverage, and Rodok if you want to find people through signals and then contact them. Pick by how you will use the contacts.

Why people look for a RocketReach alternative

RocketReach presents itself as a lead intelligence tool for finding phone numbers and emails (rocketreach.co). Reps use it from a browser extension or a search page to look up a person and get contact details. It does that job, and that is also where the reasons to compare start.

  1. Credits and exports. According to RocketReach's help center, monthly plans give lookup credits that refresh each billing cycle, while annual plans come with a fixed number of exports for the year. Know which unit your plan limits before you budget.
  2. Prices are hard to pin down. When we checked on November 1, 2026, RocketReach's pricing page did not return plan details to our fetch, and third-party sites list different numbers. Check their site for current prices. RocketReach also has custom team plans for larger teams.
  3. It finds contacts, not reasons. A lookup tool tells you how to reach someone, not whether this is a good week to do it. If your emails get ignored, the missing piece is usually timing and relevance, not a better address.

Contact data, signals or outreach: know which one you need

  • Contact data: emails and phone numbers for people you already picked. RocketReach, Lusha, Hunter and Seamless.AI live here.
  • Signals: a reason to reach out now, such as a new leader, a hiring push or a post asking for advice. See buying signals.
  • Outreach: sequences, replies and follow-up.

Many teams use all three, but they do not need to buy them from three vendors. For a wider view of data providers, see B2B data providers and lead enrichment.

Apollo

Apollo combines a contact database (240M+ contacts and 30M companies per its site) with buying signals such as intent, job changes and website visits, a parallel dialer and waterfall enrichment. Its pricing page lists Free, Basic, Professional and Custom plans without amounts, says credits are pooled across the team and do not roll over, and notes that all seats share one plan level.

Best for: teams that want data and sending in one tool. Watch out for: shared credits, so model your usage. More in Apollo alternatives and Rodok vs Apollo.

Lusha

Lusha is the closest like-for-like swap. On its pricing page, revealing an email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 5. Plans are Free (40 credits a month), Starter ($49.90 a month, 400 credits), Pro ($69.90, 600 credits), Premium ($399.90, 3,400 credits) and a custom Scale tier. Annual billing lowers the monthly figures to $37.45, $52.45 and $299.95.

Best for: reps who know who they want and need the number. Watch out for: phone reveals use credits five times faster than emails. See Lusha alternatives.

Hunter

Hunter describes itself as an email outreach platform: Domain Search, Email Finder, an Email Verifier, lead discovery, and cold email campaigns with an AI writing assistant (hunter.io). On its pricing page, one credit pool covers searches and finds; each email found costs 1 credit and each verification costs 0.5. Free gives 50 credits a month, Starter ($49 monthly, $34 billed annually) 2,000, Growth ($149, $104 annually) 10,000 and Scale ($299, $209 annually) 25,000.

Best for: email-first teams who want to verify before sending. Watch out for: it is built around email, so phone coverage is not its focus.

Seamless.AI

Seamless.AI offers a data engine for prospect search, an engagement hub for outreach, AI agents and a Chrome extension. Its site claims 1.8B+ verified business emails and 414M+ phone numbers, which are the company's own figures. It is free for up to 50 credits, and paid prices are not on the site.

Best for: high-volume prospectors. Watch out for: confirm contract terms and what is an add-on before signing.

ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo says it has verified data on 500M+ contacts and 100M+ companies (zoominfo.com). Its pricing page lists packages such as ZoomInfo Professional and Copilot Advanced with a free trial, and says cost depends on features, licenses and credit usage. No amounts are published.

Best for: larger teams that need breadth. Watch out for: quote-only pricing. See ZoomInfo alternatives and Rodok vs ZoomInfo.

Rodok

Rodok starts from the reason to reach out. You describe who you want in a sentence ("new heads of sales at SaaS companies in Canada"), and trackers find matching LinkedIn posts and job changes on a schedule, each marked hot or warm with a note on why. A lead database finds people by title, seniority, company size, industry and market, and usually returns a work email (not for everyone). Rodok fills in the person's company, website and LinkedIn page, helps write the first message, and sends email sequences from your own Gmail or Outlook, with LinkedIn steps as tasks for the rep. Replies are sorted by AI and everything lands in a built-in CRM.

Best for: small B2B teams that want to find people and contact them in one tool. Watch out for: if your reps need a mobile number for every contact or a phone dialer, pair Rodok with a phone-focused tool.

How to choose

1. Test the same 20 accounts

Take 20 contacts you already know and run them through two or three free plans. Compare how many emails and phones come back, and how many bounce when you send.

2. Count credits, not seats

A tool with a cheap seat and expensive phone credits can cost more than a flat plan. Work out your monthly lookups first.

3. Decide whether you need phones

If you book meetings by email and LinkedIn, phone data is a cost you can skip. If you cold call, it is the main thing you buy.

4. Check what happens after the lookup

A contact in a spreadsheet is not a conversation. If you will also need sequences and a CRM, a combined tool saves a second and third subscription. See sales sequences.
