Track corporate sponsors, partners and major-gift prospects from first conversation to commitment. Built around how nonprofits actually sell, so you start from your own stages instead of a blank page.

Your pipeline, in your stages

Deals move through the stages nonprofits actually use. Drag a deal, and its forecast and reports follow.

Example data.

The whole CRM, not just the pipeline. Contacts, companies, tasks, email, automations, chat and the lead finder, in one app.

Start with Pro

A CRM for nonprofits can mean two different tools. One is a donor database that records every gift and prints tax receipts. The other tracks relationships you are still building: corporate sponsors, partner organizations and major-gift prospects. Rodok is the second kind, and it is free for nonprofits. It is a sales CRM, so it fits that prospecting side and does not replace a donor database.

Two jobs, two tools

JobWhat it needsWhere Rodok fits
Donor recordsGift history, receipts, recurring donations, online giving forms, grant reportingNot a fit. Use a donor-management tool built for this.
Sponsor and partner pipelineCompanies, contacts, asks with amounts and dates, reminders, email historyA fit. This is what Rodok does.
Major-gift prospectingA short list of people, notes from every conversation, the next stepA fit, with people as records and each ask as a deal.

If you need receipting or reporting for thousands of small donors, choose a donor-management tool first. If your pain is "who is talking to that company and when do we follow up?", read on.

How fundraising and partnerships are actually worked

The buyer here is a giver: a company's community-relations or marketing lead, a foundation officer, or an individual with the means to give a large gift. Cycles are uneven. A corporate sponsorship is usually decided around the company's budget year or a specific event. A major gift is a long relationship before any ask.

Stages nonprofits commonly use, which you can rename to match yours:

  • Corporate partnerships: Identified, Intro meeting, Proposal sent, Verbal yes, Agreement signed, Activation, Renewal.
  • Major gifts: Identified, Qualified, Cultivation, Ask, Pledged, Paid, Stewardship.

In Rodok each ask becomes a deal with an amount and an expected close date, so a pledge shows up in the pipeline and in the forecast report. A deal is "won" when the pledge is made, and you decide what you count.

Follow-up rhythm matters more than the tool. Thank people within days of a gift or signed agreement. Keep cultivation light: an event invitation or a short update. Set a reminder before a sponsor's budget is planned so your proposal arrives early.

What to look for

  1. Companies and people linked together, so you can see every contact at a sponsor and your whole history with them.
  2. Your own stages and a close date on every ask, so the forecast shows what is expected and what is stale.
  3. Email and calendar sync, so conversations with prospects attach to the record without copy and paste.
  4. Reminders and notes, because major gifts are won on memory: the daughter's name, the cause they care about.

Rodok gives nonprofits this CRM for free: companies, people, deals, Gmail and Outlook sync, calendar, booking links, reports and team chat. The free nonprofit CRM does not include the lead finder or LinkedIn signals, which are part of Pro ($79 for 3 seats). To get set up, book a demo and say you are a nonprofit.

Public events that precede a sponsorship or gift

Rodok Pro can watch LinkedIn for moments like these, and the free nonprofit CRM does not include it. Rodok cannot see private giving or wealth data.

  • A company names a new community-relations or corporate-responsibility lead. Tracker: "people who started as head of community relations or corporate social responsibility at companies in Ohio in the last 90 days."
  • A company posts about a giving program, a volunteer day or a community grant. Tracker: "LinkedIn posts from companies announcing community grants or employee volunteer programs in my region."
  • A company opens a new site in your service area. New neighbors often look for local partners. See new office or market.
  • A prospect joins a board or takes a new executive role. Tracker: "people who started a new role as CEO or president at companies in my city." See new executive.
  • A calendar moment. GivingTuesday falls on December 1, 2026, so sponsor conversations tied to year-end giving start well before it.

A first message example

This is an example, not a template to paste.

Hi Priya, congratulations on starting as community partnerships lead at Northgate Logistics. We run a youth coding program a few miles from your new distribution center, and I would love to show you what a local partner could do before your next budget is set. Is a 20-minute call next week possible?

It names a recent event and makes one small ask. Write to people about their business role, and follow the email rules where you and they are located.

Where Rodok fits and where it does not

Rodok fits the sponsor, partner and major-gift prospecting side. It does not do receipting, recurring gifts, online donation forms, grant reporting, volunteer management or a donor database with giving history for thousands of people. Do not try to run those in it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best CRM for nonprofits?

It depends on the job. For donor records and receipts, pick a donor-management tool. For tracking sponsors, partners and major-gift prospects, a sales CRM like Rodok works well, and many nonprofits use one of each.

Is there a free CRM for nonprofits?

Yes. Rodok gives nonprofits its CRM for free, without the lead finder and LinkedIn signals, which are part of Pro. Book a demo and say you are a nonprofit to get set up. Other vendors may also offer free plans or nonprofit discounts, but I have not verified any, so check their pages directly.

Can I track pledges in Rodok?

Yes, as deals with an amount and an expected date, so they appear in your pipeline and forecast. Rodok does not issue receipts or process payments, so record the actual gift in the system you use for that.
